FOOTLOOSE THE MUSICAL

Posted: 12/10/05 at 6:34pmIt's not one of the best musicals out there but it was one of the most fun to perform in(I've been in the show twice). I can't believe that the CD would be so expensive...our director gave everyone copies of the CD. It's pretty necessary because of the amount of dancing in the show. I love listening to the CD because it brings back great memories and it's also a lot of fun to listen to. I think everyone on the CD is great and I have so much fun picking out Hunter Foster from the other boys who are Ren's friends. He has a couple solos here and there.

Amazon proabably can't get it from its suppliers, hence the only aavailable from sellers who have jacked the price. pricegrabber only lists amazon at the 68 price. I would go to a cd world or coconuts or anotehr store that sells new and used.

Posted: 12/10/05 at 8:06pmFootloose is the full title as with seussical, the musical was added to advertise the show. One could technically argue that it is BRoadway's Footloose The musical, and Grease a new Musical. The "the musical" etc is normally dropped after a broadway/tour run and is not required when advertising amateur rights. It's just plain footloose.

I did this show last year, it was the most fun ever. The dancing was just so awesome! Plus singing somebody's eyes was so sweet I just loved it haha. It definitely isn't the best show in the world but it's just catchy! LoL I listen to the CD all the time, but yea it's out of print unfortunately I found it really hard to get ahold of.
