I knew nothing about the show prior to The Tony Awards, but after hearing that Ring of Keys song, I was instantly smitten, and rooting for that girl to win. I look forward to eventually seeing this.

No idea, somehow it slipped under my radar. Well, to be fair, I knew that more than one actress was playing the same character at different points in her life. I believe I also read that one of the Spring Awakening actresses was briefly involved, other than that, I guess I just wasn't paying much attention.
I am also big on YA lit, and managed to miss the book too. That is likely because I get distracted when attempting to read graphic novels.

I'm delighted to have been wrong about An American In Paris winning. I just wasn't sure that the voters would go far enough outside the box to embrace Fun Home. It says something etxraordinary about the state of theater.

Thrilled for the American Musical, and this country. And the world. Wow. I can't stop saying it.
What a triumph!

Both would have been worthy winners but I'm glad FH took it over AAiP. The former is truly a great new musical.

I do think AAiP is sort of underrated because I think the staging and choreography are works of art and do much in the storytelling department. That said, Fun Home is the best that American theatre has to offer in terms of intelligence and artistry. This victory, for me, is what it would have felt like had Matilda (not American, I know) or Caroline, or Change had won Best Musical.

I would hardly call making over $1 million a week underrated. They are plenty appreciated for their stage work and artistry.

Could anyone who has seen the show on broadway tell me if Row A seat 203 is any good? Thanks.

There are no bad seats, since the show is in the round. You may be warned to keep your feet and bags back as you will be practically on stage.

Didn’t see this posted yet (sorry if I missed it) – doesn’t give a ton of info, but thought it was interesting, nonetheless. Happy to read that their ticket sales quadrupled the past 2 days, as well!:
ETA: Just saw there was some discussion of this article in the "Ring of Keys" thread.

Casting Directors and Agents will be hearing "Ring of Keys" and "Changing My Major" ad nauseum!

"Days and Days" is my new uptempo. I do it Conga style, like Gloria Estefan.

There are no bad seats for this production in Circle in the Square.
I sat in F 145 (5 rows up from A and across the aisle from the section you are in) and that seat was great. Since this is in the round, they reposition scenes to allow ALL patrons to have parts of the action facing you. When they arent facing you, there is no loss of participation in the show.
It really is amazing how they staged this production in this space. I think it is better suited to in the round rather than a standard proscenium stage (even though the Public was a proscenium but a small intimate theater nontheless).

I wonder if the same can be said of the 400s?

I've sat in both sections and they are both very good. There are different pluses and minuses of each section. The 400s give certain parts a very different view than the 100s. I don't feel you're missing out in either section.
