Just wanted to bump this and add that the album is phenomenal. I didn't get to see the show (kicking myself now), but it gives a great snapshot of the production. There's a lot of dialogue and scene excerpts, excellent photos/essays in the booklet, and the recording itself is about as perfect as cast albums get. I can think of major shows that didn't get this kind of TLC from a label, and it shows.

I imagine a transfer is now out of the question, but at least the piece will live on through the performances here and future productions. It's hard to pick a highlight - I think "Ring of Keys" is one of the best musical theatre songs in years!

The soundtrack is gorgeous and I just truly love this show! I wouldn't count a transfer out - when it was open, any talk of a transfer was said to be next season. I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up in September. (I mean I can dream, right?!)

A transfer is most certainly NOT out of the question. I would actually be surprised to NOT see it come to Broadway this fall.
