One of my favorite movie musical performances ever; he's also really wonderful in The Twelve Chairs.

Moody created the role of Fagin in Lionel Bart's "Oliver!" for its West End debut in 1960, when he was just 36 years old, but he didn't play the part on Broadway until the 1984 revival (with LuPone), earning a Tony nomination for a role he began 24 years earlier.
For the Academy Award-winning film, he earned a Best Actor nomination as well. He was just 44 years old at the time (remarkable performance and makeup!).
He will always be Fagin in my eyes. One of my very favorite screen performances.
