So I went to buy Kerry Butler's cd and no place has it. So I went online everywhere I went said "Temporarily out of Stock" and Itunes doesn't have it either? Anybody get is it good? I bet it is... everything Kerry sings is amazing!

They already sold out on many online sites - but a new shipment of cds are already on its way....

I'm biased, so I won't give my review :)

Finally found it, after an exhausted Manhattan-wide search !!!


"J & R" didnt even have it !! They didnt even have it listed !
(neither did "Borders")

The Virgin Store in Times Square has it!

Yes Virgin (in Times square) has it, but it's down in the vocal section, it's not on the new release rack in the very front, at least I didn't see it. such an amazing day for this amazing lady. she must be glowing. the cd is terrific as is the nomination. im on the next to the last song right now. CANNOT wait to hear her sing disneyland! shes brilliant.

JR will be carrying it.

It will be on itunes in 2 weeks or less

and (at least here in NYC) - it should be easily found at B&N, Borders and Virgin

And it should be available at the HH starting tonight as well.

OK, Kerry is a pin trader? That is awesome. She sounds like she could be your best friend. I'm going to my local B&N stores to see if they have it. If not, I'm going to order it.

I expected "Borders" (went to the Wall St store) to have it as well, but they are showing it as backordered.

I'm going to be in Union Square tonight, I'll stop be the Virgin down there to pick it up. I hope they have it at that location too.

I asked, and was told that they were "taking orders" at the "information desk" -- Went on-line as well, and they are listing as "backordered"-

I was going to head to the info both, but wife works close to Virgin store, so she picked it up for us.

FYI

PS Classics just informed me that the CD exceeded original/initial stock requests. A bunch of new orders are being fulfilled for all the major chains and stock should be available by the top of next week. For those not in NYC (where it's definitely available at the HH and Virgin) - PS Classics naturally has plenty of stock to ship out immediately. Also, the B&N at Lincoln Center will have plenty tomorrow for the signing.

Just bought my copy from Virgin and cancelled my order with Amazon. Can't believe I didn't think of going there when I work down the block! The cashier who checked me out actualy went to school with Kerry and her sister and they used to sing together. She also said the CD was selling pretty well.

Amazon.com is out of them as well. I have an order placed with them, but if Virgin in Times Square has them, I'll pick one up this weekend and cancel my order.

Glad to hear it's exceeding demand....as a Disney freak myself, and also a Broadway fan, this CD is like...my dreams come true (sorry for the bad Disney pun).

I live in Chicago and all the stores here (B&N and Borders)list this as "Backordered." It's very frustrating for someone who enjoys immediate gratification to have to order this, wait...and then have to pay for shipping.
