I like most of these ideas, but no one's Marvin strikes me as right.
I really have no idea who I would like to see play this part.
I'm going to have to really think about it.

It should be a big name because this musical is going to have a difficult time standing on its own. It's a show that really doesn't belong in a big Broadway house. Plus Act 2 is already seriously dated unless Finn plans to do rewrites.
Finn has said that he won't be touching FALSETTOS. There will be no changes made.
NPH would make an interesting Marvin. He's a tad bit overexposed, but he's still pretty fantastic for a "big name."
What about Raul Esparza as Marvin? I could definitely see that. He's a bigger name since he's on that one TV show.
How is Falsettoland outdated? It was written expressly to be a period piece.

Agreed, it was set in the past when it premiered.
I think groff will be staying in hamilton for a while so i dont think he will be a part of this
I was thinking about Esparza as well. Nobody has mentioned Mr. Jackson in the mix. Anyone else for Santino?

I would love to see Groff as well, but that will obviously depend on how long he stays with Hamilton.
This is a random thought, and I feel bad saying this because as a gay female actor, I know it can be hard not to get put in that box with casting, but my friend and I were ththinking Beth Malone may make a good Charlotte, again, depending on how long she stays with her show.
