Actually McFarlane has a wonderful singing voice on the Las Vegas 'Family Guy' recording. I was just listening to clips on itunes, and in the songs: 'Dear Booze', 'The Last Time I Saw Paris', and 'T.V Medley' his voice is highly enjoyable when he uses his "Brian" voice.
Though 'Family Guy' can be tasteless, I do have to admit his singing isn't half bad. I'd actually like to hear him sing some musical theatre and see how it turns out.

Posted: 10/10/08 at 7:16pmHis singing isn't nearly as good as he thinks it is. I'm so sick of meaningless musical numbers that are just being thrown in so Seth can show off his voice.

Oh I never said he wasn't overrated, I just said it wasn't half bad.
On another note, I'd much rather see a 40 piece orchestra in a Broadway Show. I'm sure we all would.

I'm thinking about going.
But only if I can hear Quagmire tell Patti LuPone she's "just Vagina #602" in person.

This is nothing new. They've done this several times before, and I had the opportunity to go see it in Los Angeles. It's a fabulous show, and if you're a fan of the cartoon, then you'll have the time of your life. Having said that, it's also not solely for fans of the TV show. Patti LuPone made an appearance in Vegas, and I'm sure there are some other tricks up Macfarlane's sleeve this time around. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a laugh or two, really.
And it's not a "Family Guy Musical," for the record.
