Why would they do that??? It is stupid I would never go see it
Quick show of hands! Am I literally the only person on the planet who genuinely couldn't care less about 'Family Guy'?

i would go see this! if you're a fan of the show why wouldn't you see it?? it's not like it's a musical musical.. it's just the cast doing musical numbers from the show and more... sounds awesome! i love Family Guy and i love those concerts that seth mcfarlane and alex borstein do! hilarious!
I love the Family Guy Vegas CD with Patti LuPone. I wish I could see this.

Weez, does hating it with an extreme passion count?
Why would someone see this? Because of McFarlane's extremely attractive singing voice?
I'm not a Family Guy fan either. I guess interchangable meaningless jokes aren't my style.
Actually McFarlane has a wonderful singing voice on the Las Vegas 'Family Guy' recording. I was just listening to clips on itunes, and in the songs: 'Dear Booze', 'The Last Time I Saw Paris', and 'T.V Medley' his voice is highly enjoyable when he uses his "Brian" voice.
Though 'Family Guy' can be tasteless, I do have to admit his singing isn't half bad. I'd actually like to hear him sing some musical theatre and see how it turns out.

His singing isn't nearly as good as he thinks it is. I'm so sick of meaningless musical numbers that are just being thrown in so Seth can show off his voice.
Oh I never said he wasn't overrated, I just said it wasn't half bad.
On another note, I'd much rather see a 40 piece orchestra in a Broadway Show. I'm sure we all would.

Title's misleading.
Me want a Family Guy Broadway show with David Hyde Pierce as Stewie.

I'm thinking about going.
But only if I can hear Quagmire tell Patti LuPone she's "just Vagina #602" in person.
Patti will probably be busy with that show she's in. What's it called? I can't remember...

That's the one.
Didn't she win a TV contest or something?
I guess I'm in the minority here.
I love Family Guy and love love the "Live In Vegas" CD.
I wish I could be in the city to see this!

This is nothing new. They've done this several times before, and I had the opportunity to go see it in Los Angeles. It's a fabulous show, and if you're a fan of the cartoon, then you'll have the time of your life. Having said that, it's also not solely for fans of the TV show. Patti LuPone made an appearance in Vegas, and I'm sure there are some other tricks up Macfarlane's sleeve this time around. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a laugh or two, really.
And it's not a "Family Guy Musical," for the record.
Me want a Family Guy Broadway show with David Hyde Pierce as Stewie.
I want to bring Rex Harrison back from the dead to play Stewie.

Does anyone else look at the promo art and immediately think that the Griffins are performing in the John Doyle-directed Company?

LOL! How hilarious would it be if John Doyle staged an actual musical version of Family Guy?!

Wow, that would win at life.
Hmmmm... what instruments would everyone play...
