Anyone here been to the Family Guy Sings! shows in the other cities? I'll be going to the one in NYC next month. Does the cast do autographs and signings afterwards somewhere? I would love to meet Alex and Seth.
PiraguaGuy2, or if you want the "censored" version.
I don't think they killed my lord I need a Jew.
I actually find it funny that it was that line that turned the show from being able to re air on Cartoon Network as many times as they wanted and only being able to air once on Fox. I must say that that episode is so funny for all the wrong reasons.

I'm not trying to bug people just trying to find out if they will be doing any sort of discount other than the $55 balcony seats? like a rush or anything?
Are there any discount codes out for it?

"No Day But Today"
Still some tickets left for tonight in the $85+ range..Haven't seen anything about rush or the the hall's $10 ticket program for this. Assuming neither is applying?
Just called them up no rush or $10 tickets for this.. I just grabbed a seat in the dress circle for tonight using this code MEGG7209 It's 20 percent off so it works out to $58 with fees for a decent seat. The code can be also used on front balcony seats which are $51 with fees. Singles only left for tonight but there are quite a few tickets let for tomorrow. Updated On: 11/24/08 at 09:13 AM
Half of the cast signed last night..Alex Borstein was very nice to come out in the rain and sign for everyone..Seth MacFarlane signed for a couple of people from inside until his car came. Seth Green and Mila Kunis didn't come out to sign. It's a very fun show if you like Family Guy! Updated On: 11/25/08 at 04:36 AM
OK It was an absolute BLAST!! They were hilarious.
And as far as signing goes, they close out the show with a ballad between Alex and Seth and then they leave the stage. Then they come back out again and Seth does another performance. That is when everyone started taking pics (it was prohibited the entire time), THEN the rest of the cast off to the side started posing for people and eventually a lot of people ran over to that side and starting snapping pics of them and getting things signed while Seth was performing his last song. Then they all posed for pics on stage.
Mila was nice enough to run to the other side of the stage where other people were trying to get to the main part and she took pics there, she handed people the scripts that they were reading from. She handed like 2 girls 2 scripts and then she grabbed another script and headed my way and I was like "MILA CAN I GET IT PLEASE?!??!" and she handed it to me I was so happy.
I didn't go outside to get anything signed, I didn't know what was going on but I guess while I was getting the script from Mila the rest of the cast was doing the signing outside.
But it was a blast and definitely be ready to beg for their scripts up near the stage. I got Alex's All her lines are highlighted and everything.
BTW.. does anyone know how people got into the after party? We were practically pushed out of the theater unless we had a yellow band. I didn't see anything about paying to get in.. so I'm assuming it was invite only? I would have loved to chat up Mila and Seth and Alex.
My husband and I went last night, we thought it was a total riot.
The show was a live reading of the two-part episode where Stewie Kills Lois, interspersed with many songs, some directly from the show, some others tweaked with new lyrics.
The show ended with MacFarlane and Alex Borstein doing a Peter/Lois duet of "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" with really smutty lyrics, which was made even funnier when Borstein realized there was a very young kid (maybe 9 years old, not sure) right in the front row. She leaned over the stage to him and asked how old he was and he was so excited all he could do was exclaim "Holy SH*T!" into the microphone and flail all over the place. The whole place erupted in laughter. Very funny.
Probably the highlight for me was Seth MacFarlane singing "Rocket Man" both as Stewie AND William Shatner---flipping hilarious!
It is splendid fun to hear well-known cartoon character voices come straight out of the mouth of the actor, and Seth McFarlane was particularly great to watch because at some points he had to do Stewie, Brian and Peter Griffin all in one scene, and he did so without missing a beat!
I don't always think Family Guy is a great show, but I can't deny these people are all very talented, and it was really fun to see them in person (with a back-up orchestra of 40, and a chorus!)
Sorry I don't really remember the names of the songs. They read off the entire "Stewie Kills Lois" episode and "Lois Kills Stewie" episode. McFarlane sang most of the songs inbetween. They start off with the theme song with Alex/Seth, the guy who voices Cleveland premiered the new theme song for The Cleveland Show, they sing the song with Lois/Quagmire set to "Baby It's Cold Outside", Seth sings the song about drunken irishmen and his father (they pointed out it was nominated for an Emmy or something but lost to Justin Timberlake's "dick in a box"), Alex sings the song about Lois and her mom, Shapoopie, there is a slow song sung by Brian (Seth), there is Rocketman. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. There are a lot of songs from the show, but a few 'especially' made for the Live show (like the Lois song about her mom).
ETA: Here is another sort of embarrassing pic I took of Mila/Alex!!

Besides the songs I and another poster mentioned in our posts above, Seth MacFarlane also sang "As Time Goes By"---I'm blanking out on what else they sang!
