How I wished I could live in NYC so I coulda gone. And I must say im very envious you were that close to Mila Kunis.

OT but:

I was just notified that NetFlix will no longer carry Family Guy: Live in Las Vegas (with LuPone in it)... re: Family Guy Sings! in NYC

Sorry for having no time yesterday to add this...

I went Monday night to Family Guy Sings! Had a GREAT time. Was really amazing to "see" the voices of Family Guy. Seth M doing Peter, Brian and Stewie sometimes conversing with each other just proved how extremely talented he is. If that isn't enough you have to be overwhelmed when he sings too! Spectacular voice with great "animation" - meaning his facial gestures, especially when he voices Stewie!

Loved Alex B presenting her breasts as possibly the reason for the incredible applause when they walked out on stage.

Everyone was really funny, I had a fantastic time and I am not a Family Guy guru. However, I brought my friend as a birthday gift since he is wild over Family Guy and without guiding his reply he did agree that the double episode presentation did start to get old. He and I both wished it was something a little more than them reading from scripts and inserting a few songs to break things a little (thankfully). Not being negative - we really did have a great time and were very glad we went.

At times I thought Mila looked bored. Seth Green was having a BLAST when not doing his voice...he was taking photos, enjoying his beverage, chatting with Mila and even danced with her while Seth M sang a song.

We were in the 9th row in the Orchestra. Had a reducilous guy near us who before the show was talking SO loud and everyone was hearing how he was bad mouthing his boss Craig. Kept going on about how terrible he is in the office, how many shows he sees... What was even worse was that every single joke was the most funny thing he ever heard. (I was thinking of everyone on the BWW figuring this to be one of those people who is rude in theaters!) The women near me at intermission even got frustrated when the guy ran out because they hoped he wasn't going for another drink.

Some fan towards the end of act 1 threw a yellow envelope on stage while Seth M was performing a song. WHY are people SO rude to think that is an appropriate time to stand, walk towards the stage and throw something at an actor? Seth did pick it up and opened it when the second act started and quickly returned it to the spot on the stage because he didn't want to reveal what was in there.

Afterwards, we did wait outside in the rain for autographs. Approximately 20 people waited. Some even stood there with the oversized $15 posters that I hope weren't completely ruined by the rain. Contrary to previous posts...Mila did emerge from the stage door...a decoy was sent out the door 20 feet away! The theater had Alex B emerge 20 feet from "the" stage door...everyone quickly moved towards Alex B. She was VERY gracious to sign autographs. I got hers and then quickly moved back to the stage door. That is when the handlers watched how effectively the decoy routine worked. They formed a "wall" and that is when Mila was escorted quickly to the van with Macauley Culkin (sorry for spelling) I was focused on Mila and I think I missed Seth Green walking with his head down behind the wall of human bodies getting them to the van. I did hold my Family Guy Las Vegas cd high enough over the shoulders and Mila did sign "MK" for me. A little more time passed and Mike H (voice of Cleveland) came out the door that Alex came out of, was escorted towards the van but did sign some while moving. Was able to get him before he got in the van. Composer Walter Murphy signed as he left the stage door. Finally at Midnight, Seth M waited behind the door that Alex came out of. We were told that Seth would sign however items one at a time would be handed in to him. This would take place until his car arrived and they would try to get as many as possible as long as we all understood that all would not get one.

So with the exception of Seth Green...I just about got the entire "Family" on my CD. Was a fun night, wish it were a longer run so more could have enjoyed the experience - was well worth the trip.

As found out that Monday night the cast got there about 7:45 and did not sign on the way in. Tuesday night my friend went and said Mila and Seth Green signed on the way in while Seth M quickly went in a 'second' additonal door at the back near "the" stage door. After the show Tuesday night, with nice weather, looked to be over 100 people waiting. My friend figured since the show ran late and the huge crowd - he left at 11:30.

Did anyone go last night? Did they do the 2 part episode 100 Stewie Kills Lois? Did anyone wait for autographs last night?
