It’s been 10+ years since I wrote to shows asking for a signed playbill. I understand many request donations to BCEFA.
Can anyone who has had success recently please let me know what the acceptable process is with self addressed stamped envelopes, postage, donations, etc. ?
It’s been 15+ years since I’ve been to a stage door, and with the current climate of folks being pushy, it’s not something I’m interested in anymore.
FYI, the original who have you gotten stuff back from has since reached the max amount of replies.

I wrote a letter to Katrina Lenk when she starred in the Company revival,in late 2021. I finally received an autographed photo 5 months later. I don't think there was stage dooring at that time,because Broadway had recently reopened from the Covid shutdown,so I imagine she might've been getting more written mail than usual. It probably took her a long time to respond. I was very grateful,as she is one of my favorite performers.
