Ariana Grande is VERY overrated and should not have been cast in the London revival of SITPWG.

I'd like to see Katrina Lenk as Aurora. I know she's a little over 50,but her voice is in great shape and she can dance. Chita was over 60 when she played it. Of course,there's only one Chita.

I'm really enjoying the book. It's a lot of fun.I've been a Liza fan for many years,so it's great to learn more about her than I already knew.

If it comes to Broadway and Gillian Anderson chooses not to come with it,I wonder how Katrina Lenk would be as the female lead. She's worked with Elliot before and she's a great dramatic actress too. She has done some plays as well as musicals,though mainly off-Broadway.

Katrina's current vocal coach is Joan Lader,who also works with Patti LuPone and Kristin Chenoweth. I remember her mentioning it in an interview when Company returned  after the shutdown. She really does sound great.

Trump seems to be extremely jealous of First POTUS George Washington,who has many things named after him,including a state and the nation;s capital. Because he was,ya know,the FIRST! Trump needs to sit down and shut up,though I know he won't. Glad Schumer said no.

Happy Birthday to the VERY talented Katrina Lenk. Good to know she will be back on the boards in the show "High Spirits" at Encores! in 2026.

Yesss! Hopefully she has a lead. Wished I lived in NYC so I could see it. 

 

She's extremely talented and great to watch. I know she's kind of a specific type of performer,but I'd love to see her back on Broadway. I know she's done a few readings here and there. Superb performer.

I can't believe it will be one year since Gavin passed,on Sept.30. I miss him so much. He left such a big hole on Broadway...and in the world. Such a gorgeous voice.

I felt like I was really there watching Adam Lambert,Cynthia Erivo,Philippa Soo,Raul Esparza,and the company perform right in front of me--all the way here in my little home in the south! Cynthia's Gethsemane moved me to tears. I sang along a little with some of the other songs. I wish so badly this could be released as an album. I'd buy it in a minute.

Katrina Lenk in Kiss of the Spider Woman. Yes,I know she's 50,but Chita was 62 when she played Aurora. Katrina has a background in dance and she has a great sultry-sounding voice that she uses when a part or song calls for it.

I love Idina; I've seen her in concert twice. But I kind of wish she would change voice coaches to Joan Lader--who coaches Kristin,Patti LuPone, Sutton Foster, Katrina Lenk,and many others that I can't think of off the top of my head. Lenk began working with her before Company returned to the stage after the shutdown,and her vocals had improved.
