Fantasia is performing on Good Morning America, Friday, July 13, 2007 as part of their Summer Concert Series. If you're interested in seeing her, you need to get to Bryant Park around 6:00 a.m.
She'll be singing songs from her latest album, along with I'm Here.

With all due respect to Fantasia, can they please give her a different song to sing for once than "I'm Here"? That score is filled with songs for Celie. I've heard the woman sing "I'm Here" about 15 times already, and I've only seen her in the show once.

I agree. She's done I'm Here on American Idol, Oprah, the Tonys and Regis.
Maybe Lily of the Field, Somebody to Love You? Or get Elisabeth Withers up there for What About Love.

So, if she is at Bryant Park, is she going to skip the show again?
jimny - I don't know what idiotic bias you have against Fantasia, but why the hell would she miss a show if she is performing at 6:00 AM?
Your act is getting tiresome and unfunny. Give it up.

Poor wizard. You are obsessed with all things Fantasia. She owes it to her fans not to miss any shows. What is she doing in the park at 6 AM (per your post)?
She's performing at Bryant Park.
And no, I'm not obsessed with Fantasia. At all. It's just irritating to see you carry on your little campaign against her "She hates her fans! She misses shows!".
Seriously, get a life.

...she is performing at 6:00 AM
Why is she in the park at 6 am? No wonder she misses shows!
Because it's part of Good Morning America's concert series. The show is in the morning, so she is performing in the morning.
Is that so hard to understand? And what shows have she missed, other than the night of the Tonys, for which she had a legitimate reason.

She didn't belong at the Tony Awards. She was nominated for nothing. The current shows were not allowed to perform because they were plugging a show from last year produced by a talk show host and featuring a game show contestant. She had fans who took a bus trip that lasted 10 hours each way. They went to the show to see her. She wasn't there. She should have been. Case closed.
But she was asked by the producers of the Tony Awards to be there. She, no, she shouldn't have been at The Color Purple that night.
^ Seriously. Wasn't the show at 7 pm. How the hell was she suppose to get to the Tonys?
She missed one performance.. I always thought Jimmy was joking over this. I guess not.

How do you know that I wasn't one of the people on the bus?
I'm supporting the underdogs. They came a long way to see her. She dissapointed them and that is what they will remember about their trip to NYC.
Well, too bad for them. That's the risk you take when you take a trip to New York to see one specific performer.
And why do you need to "support the underdogs". How they hell are they underdogs. So they missed Fantasia in The Color Purple. Boo hoo. I missed John Lithgow in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Am I an underdog, too?

So now you are saying John Lithgow misses shows? When will it all end? Where are the true stars that never miss? Is Harvey the last of the breed?
Yes. I'll support you as an underdog in this case.
