Rosie!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I did enjoy Oprah's dramatic reading on the Tony Awards when she presented the performance by the cast.
Maybe they should just tell people Fantasia is still gonna be in it. Her attendance record hasn't been that great anyhow, so they can just say she's sick.

I heard Brandi Chavonne Massey will be the new Celie

They will cast Celie with whoever can sing the part and does not require a theatre full of refunds when they are out unexpectedly. They will pepper supporting parts with "stunt casts" like Chaka Khan and the Winans to add some star power and panache.

Actually, I heard from an inside source that it's between 2 dancers (they're looking to go at Celie's part from a different angle). It's between Charlotte D'amboise and Karen Ziemba.

I love the idea of Shirley Q Liquer
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

Fantasia's replacement has yet to be formally announced.
Jones is going into the show as the lead Church Soloist in the ensemble. She will also play Sofia at all matinee performances during Chaka Kahn's run in the role.
