I just watched the video on the forbidden site and I have to admit she was pretty good. I think she will do very well in the show. I have to agree 100% with VivaBohemia on what she said.

I do have to admit. That was an outstanding performance she gave on the show. It was beautiful...she's come a long way.

Now all I see are cute boys with short haircuts in a maze of their own...

She was great on Oprah- and I think she'll be great as Celie.

She has the potential to bring a lot to the role, and have it be very different from La Chanze (whom I did love). To me Fantasia is a somewhat natural fit to where Celie comes from. There is something real there.

I can't wait to see how she does.

By the way, she's not bad. Actually, she's quite good. What's the big deal? (Of course I haven't heard the original version though...)
