I'm not sure if this will work or not, but I hope it will. This is the link to a slideshow of a whole series of new photos I just received from a friend of mine. He took these shots at one of the "Snow White" performances on July 3rd of this year. They're really good. Much better than any other photos I ever had of the show before. Check them out if you've got a sec!

Thanks, MB! And oh, I did, indeed. (I believe I may have given a whole new meaning to the expression, "chewing the scenery!")

These photos are FABULOUS! What a wonderful keeper for you too!
Would you happen to know what kind of camera he used for these?
A click for life.

Thanks, Mamie! I don't know off-hand, but I can find out. I do know it was a digital camera, quite large (as big as a professional film camera), with a big ol' telephoto lense...I'm guessing 10 MP.
He also shot video with it...
I'll ask him and get back to ya!
(To give more insight into how good the camera was - all the photos he shot of me were taken from over 50 feet away.)

kyle: Yes, the show ran at the Fantasyland Theater at Disneyland from Feb. 2004 through Sept. 2005 and returned for a limited run this past summer, June through Sept. 2006.
SorryGrateful: Why, thank you... And yes, I actually love that one, too. It's hilarious! (I kind of look like Norma Desmond in the final few frames of Sunset Boulevard...)

Is Armando still doing the wigs?
I'm guessing no, because, what's up with Snow Whites hair? It looks awful.

I don't know who originally designed them (and I must admit to being woefully out-of-the-loop on the names of a lot of the designers)... I do know they got done over in the wig/makeup room in the N19 building, and then were maintained by various folks during the run.
Performing outdoors in 100 degree heat 5 times a day may have made her wig fall apart a bit that day... Regardless, I don't think it looks "awful." And if you're thinking it looks "awful" because it's very different than the "face character" Snow White, that's just personal taste, I suppose. I do know the wig was designed to look more "natural," less shellacked.

OK, here's the info on the camera:
http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Sony%20Cyber-Shot%20DSC-H1%20Digital%20Camera:1991720803;_ylt=A0oGkmtItUdF0S4B8s5XNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTBzMDZuMHJ2BGNvbG8DdwRzZWMDc2MEdnRpZANZUzEwN18xMDM-
It's a Sony Cybershot DSC-H1.. It's a really good camera actually. According to my friend, it's not a professional grade camera, but it's pretty close. If this person is considering getting a camera that takes really good, clear shots.. with all that it has, it's the best in its class with a really good price.
Here are a few other pictures he sent me, just so you can see how the quality is... (He didn't feel the "Snow White" pics did the camera justice.)

Funny you say "shellacked"...
My friend was playing Snow White when they did the 50th ann. show, and her wig looked like a Darth Vader helmet. She actually threw it on the floor and it rolled.

Was that at Disneyland or Enchanted Kingdom?

It was a very well put together show for a Disney theme park production.
Fantasmic is still my favorite, but Snow White was pretty good, too.

Dollypop: I won't be posting those, don't worry.
I thought the photos were really nice...if you check the link, they are all the photos he took that day. I believe more than 2/3 of them are not of the "evil queen," even though he was taking them as a favor for me.
You have effectively put a damper on my Halloween spirit, though, so I'll go back and remove the above Halloween card/photo of myself.

It was at D-land.
Dolly just wishes she was really the Evil Queen, although she tries.

Summer is so gorgeous! As are you, girl! I didn't know you worked there, I'm in the Parade of Dreams and it's a blast. Summer has such a beautiful voice and I would always try to catch her when I could. I am not sure that I saw you or not, I usually ended up seeing the girl who is a little bigger boned than you, I don't know her name. Are you doing Princess Fantasy Faire now? I know that the Huntsman in that pic is.
