Even though this WONDERFUL show is ending its run today, we will always have this beautiful illustration by Norn to remember it by. I adore THE BIG VOICE: GOD OR MERMAN and I adore Norn's work. Steve, Jim, Dale, Carl and Ethel should be proud.
THE BIG VOICE goes digital!
I have missed this show, but good job as always Norn!

It's hard to believe for me that such a fantastic show has ended it's run in less than a year while shows like Tarzan are still on.
THANK YOU NORN! It's fantastic! I'll put it up on the Myspace ASAP.

The larger-than-life ghost of Merman looming behind the two characters is especially poignant. I haven't had the opportunity to get to know this show, but her "presence" in the way Norn illustrated her makes me want to know more.
I don't know much about the show personally, but it is an awesome illustration as usual!!!
This show was poignant AND hilarious.
When I first found out that I would be seeing it without Steve and Jim, I was disappointed...until I saw the show. I loved Dale and Carl so much, I went back again and brought others with me.
I will miss them as well as this great, modern romance that inspires you to believe that the power of love is stronger than anything...even death.

thanks ya'll.
the show is three stories at once...which is kind of incredible, since there are only two characters (Merman isnt so much a "character" as a "prescence" over the whole show)
1. its a love story.
2. its a history of theater.
3. its about questioning & finding one's spirituality.
we look for THE BIG VOICE *OUTSIDE* of ourselves, when what we should be listening for is the the little voice *WITHIN* ourselves.
i hope a full cast album will be recorded some day.
until then, you can download three of the songs from the official website.
