I am looking for suggestions on father and daughter duets or man and girl. Mid 30's father and 8-10 year old daughter.
Thanks for any help.

How about THE FIRST MAN YOU REMEMBER from ASPECTS OF LOVE? Not a deep song by any means, but it works quite well in the show as a father/daughter thing. Out of context it works well in a variety of settings too. It's cute and catchy too.

Think DISNEY.

"No Matter What" (Beauty and the Beast)
and maybe inapproprite but "Like No Man I've Ever Seen" (Tarzan)

But it's not like audiences now-a-days listen to lyrics anyway.

Anything from Fiddler on the Roof?

If you want to step out of the box, you can do lots of fun stuff like "I Like your Style" from Barnum, but you'd have to cut out the verse about "the aisle"

A beautiful rendition of If I sing from Closer than Ever could be worked up with an arranger.

I know it's not from a musical, but how about "Unforgettable"? It's very powerful and I've actually dueted it with my dad.
