musicaltheatreman - PLEASE tell me you did not just say you like "It's a hard NOT life" from Annie! Are you kidding me?!? I hope for the sake of this site that that was a typo. "It's the hard KNOCK life! We're just all going to pretend like that was an accident.

I like "You're A Big Boy Now" and "I Want to Know" from BIG. Also, "Let Me Entertain You" from GYPSY and "When I Get My Name in Lights" from the BFO. "Consider Yourself" from OLIVER, when the Dodger is played by a child and not a 17 year old teen.

And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...

I hate the kids songs of les miserables! is the only thing that I will cut from the show.

My fav. is "it's a hard knock life" (FOR US!) from annie.

Nobody expects the spanish inquisition!

"GETTING TALL" makes me sob. One of the most beautiful moments in that show....suprisingly enough the only moment I really was moved when I saw John Stamos do it. Those little boys in the Revival were amazing.
Mitchell David Federman (is that right?) IS UNBEATABLE during his number in BOY FROM OZ...THAT itself deserved a Tony nod!

The children in Lez Miz make remind me of when you wake up from a one night stand and a lot of booze and you think"what did I do to deserve this headache?"

I saw a video clip of Mitchell David Federan on the official Boy From Oz website. I was amazed by his performance - especially that back flip off the piano! I think I have a tape somewhere of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performance of him.

Children in musicals usually make me cringe....but I loved the girl in Jane Eyre singing "The Graveyard".
