Not so much the end of Act 1 but the end of the play (which had no intermission). I saw Shining City at the Huntington a few years back and the way it ended without giving away spoilers, all I could think to myself was, "Oh my God, what's gonna happen next?!"
*sigh* Blackout.

Posted: 1/26/14 at 4:54pmI'm actually not kidding about this, but Taymor's original Spider-Man was perplexing, since Spider-Man captured the Green Goblin at the end of Act One, and you were like, jeez, if that was act one, how can they top it in act two?! Of course, well, we know how that played out...
