Favorite Cliffhanger?

Not so much the end of Act 1 but the end of the play (which had no intermission). I saw Shining City at the Huntington a few years back and the way it ended without giving away spoilers, all I could think to myself was, "Oh my God, what's gonna happen next?!"

*sigh* Blackout.
Butters, go buy World of Warcraft, install it on your computer, and join the online sensation before we all murder you. --Cartman: South Park ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."

Favorite Cliffhanger?

The end of Act One of Light In The Piazza. You could easily assume what happens based on the situation, but it was so incredibly well-done.
"I saw Pavarotti play Rodolfo on stage and with his girth I thought he was about to eat the whole table at the Cafe Momus." - Dollypop

Favorite Cliffhanger?

I'm actually not kidding about this, but Taymor's original Spider-Man was perplexing, since Spider-Man captured the Green Goblin at the end of Act One, and you were like, jeez, if that was act one, how can they top it in act two?! Of course, well, we know how that played out...
Now t/d/b/a haterobics on here.

I love the end of Act 1 of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

For me the best was the end of Act 1 of "PROOF". Also the above Act 2 end of August Osage.
