Mickey and Eddie in BLOOD BROTHERS. I've seen the show countless times, and I always come out weeping like a baby.
Angel in RENT. Yeah, I'm one o' them. XD
I've got a playlist of death songs on MediaPlayer, but half of them are RENT and the other half are LES MISERABLES. I've not yet seen Les Mis, so I don't feel particularly affected by any of the deaths yet, but I absolutely love Javert's Suicide as a Death Song. :3

The ending to Little Shop. My aunt couldn't stop talking about it.
Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney. As I've said a couple of times, I've only seen the touring DVD, but George Hearn. Damn.
I know this probably won't count (unless it's made into a musical/play) but the death scene in FRIED GREEN TOMATOES AT THE WHISTLE STOP CAFE.
I cry everytime.
and in UPSIDE OF ANGER.. at the end.
Spoilers....
I like the finale of Jekyll and Hyde where he kills himself at the wedding.

All of the ones in Sweeney and Les Mis (those are some death-filled shows). *Spoiler* The end of Miss Saigon also makes me cry.
Agree with Weez. Have seen Blood Brothers numerous times, and can you believe each damn time I cried.
And The King and I of course. (Though I am partial towards it for many reasons.)

When done well, Eponine's and Fantine's in "Les Miserables."
Kim in "Miss Saigon"
Spolier's here: It is especially sad when Kim is saying goodbye to Tam: "Look at me one last time..."
I am with Piazzaslight. The final death in "Lieutenant of Inishmore" is just... wow!
Don Quixote in The Man of La Mancha, it gets me every time. It's one of the most emotional death scenes that I've ever seen.
The deaths of the two leads (Judas and Jesus) in Jesus Christ Superstar were also pretty intense
Top in my list is Kim's suicide in Miss Saigon.
Followed by Eponine and Fantine's demise in Les Miserables.
...continuing with the ALW theme I guess you could toss Joe Gillis in there as well!
Kim's death in Miss Saigon
Javert's suicide in Les Miz
Coalhouse's death in Ragtime
Not sure what the initials ALW mean,
but I concur: Molina in Spider/"Mad about the boy" Joe in Sunset

Coalhouse's death in Ragtime makes me cry. And Mrs. Lovett's in Sweeney...I had seen the revival, and then I watched the DVD with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury and was so shocked when he shoved her into the oven. I jumped more than a little.
The deaths in BLOOD BROTHERS. That show is beyond amazing- and I had never cried in a theatre until I saw this show.
Mereb in AIDA
Radames && Aida in AIDA
Claudia in LESTAT (I liked the way they did the lighting.)
Dracula in DRACULA
Lucy in DRACULA
[sp?] Renfield in DRACULA (Out of all the deaths in that show, these were the ones I thought were done very well.)
Umm yeah can't think of anymore off the top of my head... =)
West Side Story, at the end. It's so beautiful, and so heart-wrenching.
Gavroche, because it scared and surprised the crap out of me when I saw Les Mis for the first time.
I really like the end of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. Not on Broadway now, but the play itself is so thought-provoking.
Oh, and Aida. I guess the deaths at the end are implied, technically, but they still gave me chills.
When Katurian smothers Michal in Pillowman, totally and completely heart-wrenching. The fact that Katurian does it out of love and a need to protect Michal makes it even more sad.
ahimsa - ALW means Andrew Lloyd Webber =]
eponine's death makes me cry
and i know this is technically a movie musical but when Satine dies in Moulin Rouge it is so sad.
all the kids at the senior prom in carrie
