Favorite Love Song from a Broadway Show

You have 2 choices, They are:
1 Solo
and 1 done as a Duet.
I'm still thinking about my own choice, So many to chose from.
I think the best way to choose here are the ones that always seem to give you that special Buzz, A song and singer that touches you Heart Chakra.

"I Only Have Eyes for You" from 42nd Street does it for me. Makes me cry every time--such lyrics!

Mine is "You should be loved" from Side Show.
It was 6 hours, I don't even like to have sex and eat bacon for 6 hours.

I have a soft spot for the ones where the people profess not to be in Love
in a dramatic musical it gives the Lovers a place to go.

hey. I like Rent. and Wicked. leave me alone. There are other shows that are awesome, I just happen to like those a lot, and I like those songs. It's not my fault other people agree with me.

"One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story
Ummm.."All I ask of You" from POTO, I suppose. Haha.
Geez..there are so many more, though! Those just came to my mind first!

say it somehow from piazza. staged beautifully.

just the way you are from movin out. i know its technically a billy joel song, but its still very sweet.

forever yours from once on this island. honestly its a song i usually skip, but its a beautiful song.


those are the only ones i can think of without naming anything from RENT or wicked.

Solo: "On My Own." Unoriginal, I know, but it gets me every time.
Duet: "Take Me As I Am" from Jekyll & Hyde. It's very light and pretty. Love it.

LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING from ASPECTS OF LOVE.

Not only was it a beautiful love ballad but the song itself was the overture for the show! It also served as a fitting finale!
