Posted: 7/24/04 at 1:57amCandide should be on the top of the list... The FULL Merrily overture with the Tuba solo of Good Thing Going... gives me chills. Guys and Dolls has a nice overture... Gypsy's prepares you for Styne's best score.

CATS! - I never skip it...
Plus, in performance it's so unique with all the cats running through the audience with the blinking lights. Not the way the current tour does it, but you know, the was it's supposed to be done....
