I love the FOLLIES revival
hairspray that was easy
I really like the Fiddler revival playbill-specifically the colored one. If I am not mistaken, there are two, and the other on is black and white.
THE HEIRESS and FOLLIES revival.

I've wondered this for some time - what is the difference between a Showbill and a Playbill? I have a Lion King Showbill but all the other ones are Playbills. It has always confused me...
My personal favorite out of the like 9 I have is The Producers one with Nathan and Matthew, just because it's fun and they look so cute in that pose. My other ones are rather boring, and the Aida one depresses me because I didn't get to see Deborah, but there she is on the cover.

The programs from the Teens and Twenties (1910-1929) are truly works of art, if you've never seen them.
These program never identified the show on its cover. It was for the theatre and the cover was 4-color artwork. The one for the New Amsterdam Theatre, for example, featured a beautiful Art Deco cover in full color.
I several such programs (The New Amsterdam, the 46th Street, the Sam Harris) framed and on the wall of my library.
Let's see... CATS: classic. Phantom: classic. The Titanic tour Playbill was really nice. NINE was great. And I really like the DRACULA playbill, too.
Wonderful Town
Donna Murphy and Jennifer Westfeldt photographed in the same pose as the drawn figures of Ruth and Eileen in the Wonderful Town logo.
It's positively adorable (even in black and white).

I quite liked the Playbill for "Anna in the Tropics".

All the coloured ones. The black and white logos ruin it for me.
I think the AIDA playbill is gorgeous.
I really like the Wonderful Town one too! I ave it in black and white but everything else I have of the show are in those awesome colors!
I believe you have to join Playbill in order to have Playbills. Producers who have not joined Playbill use Showbill instead.
Interestingly enough, London does not use Playbill or Showbill (at least they didn't two years ago). You have to buy a program to get a listing of the actors, the creative team, etc.
But I forgot to answer the question... I like most of the illustrations on the Playbills that Lincoln Center Theatre uses...

I really liked the Fiddler cover. My HS did Fiddler in the Spring, and my friend and I tried to persuade the faculty to use it as the cover to our programs, but to no use lol. I don't know why I like it, maybe its the unexpected colors.

I like the Wicked one. Im not just saying it cuz im a fan. I like it cuz its so mysterious. With not being able to see Elphabas eyes, and with Glinda whispering. It makes you wonder.
La Boheme

Caroline, Or Change (color)
I actually really like the Urinetown Playbill, it's really simple. Hairspray is one of my all time favorites, and I like Wicked's playbill too with the color contrast.

isnt Les Miserables so classic. I mean whenever i see the black and white sketched Cosette...its just one of a kind.
