I think they should get broadway legends in to do little sketches before each show. Ya know, like the Martin Scorcese commercial before the movies.

Cry-Baby: during the Overture the orch. plays a "bum bum bum" and then a group of men (offstage and most likely pre-rec.) say "take your seats" followed by more playing then, "bum bum bum, cell phones off" more playing then, "bum bum bum, unwrap your losenges"
It was very funny and unexpected.
