Fiddler Rear Mezz. Seats?

Hey, don't post/check here too often and I will apologize ahead of time if this has been discussed to death (don't want to anger the BroadawayWorld gods) but has anyone sat in the rear mezzanine for Fiddler? Contemplating buying a very reasonably priced ticket off TodayTix but with the Broadway Theater being such a large stage/house I was worried it may be too far back. Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I wouldn't recommend it. I haven't sat there for Fiddler, but for Promises Promises, I felt like I was miles and miles away. Couldn't see any faces.

About 5 rows from the back of a huge mezzanine, so not great; however, I learned a long time ago that you can see a great show from far away and love it,and you can see a lousy show from the best seats in the house and hate it. The only seats I will never take are anything in the Gershwin mezzanine, and extreme sides close to the front. The further back you go, extreme sides are not an issue. Up close, I usually have an exasperating time.

I had rear right mezzo seats also from TodayTix, and thought they weren't great, but adequate. But I also only paid $15 with the amount of credit I had received, haha. You still get a wonderful view of the dance scenes, which I thought were the strongest parts of the show anyways.
