Personally, they should just hire Brad's friends and family from "It's A Brad, Brad World." I've rarely seen "One Day More" sung with such joy and love.
^ Hehehehe.
Btw, think they'll er...uglify Ms. Boggess for the role? Think she'll set aside her chance to showcase her lovely soprano on big screens around the world and adopt a nasty screechy gargle in order to do justice to the horrible whore hag she is supposed to be playing? Think they'll give her the giant pair of scissors the egregious crone famously wields at young maidens with beautiful locks of golden/dark hair that she accosts under the light of the red light district? Think they'll go for the current tour portrayal and make her an ordinary chick who, for whatever reason, really digs Fantine's hair enough to buy it? Will they remove the character's awesome quirks--which fit right in with the shady area Fantine finds herself in--and go for the ordinary and mundane? Will movie audiences recoil in horror as they watch that terrible hag cackle in delight at Fantine's misfortunes?
Given the current trend of inserting faux ingenuity by way of utter normalcy and "reality" through the shunning of all that is even mildly theatrical, regardless of whether or not it works in whatever medium its to be a part of, I doubt it.
Or they could turn the hair crone into something like a big lesbo whore who's hawt and sports ginormous knockers and sex appeal to match and seduces a desperate Fantine with misleading soprano into selling her hair and dignity--among other things--in the process.
I'd dig it.
I think Sierra should be The Factory Girl that gets in a catfight with Fantine if the role isn't already filled. Or one of the Lovely Ladies (the one that says "God I'm weary sick enough to drop...")

Possibly he could be the pimp....
I'm not sure about any of the other cast but Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway are both in Paris.

Just to let you all know, a couple of weeks ago an article was posted with a quote of Taylor Swift setting the record straight on her being rumored for the role of Eponine:
"I didn’t miss out on the role for Les Miserables because I never got the role,” says Taylor."
"I was at home and I just started getting all these text messages from my friends saying ‘Congratulations on your movie role’ and I was like ‘What? I don’t understand! I haven’t got a movie role!’ So that is the real story."
I wonder if this source is accurate because some say that Showbiz Spy sometimes does not tell the truth.

ETA: I found a MORE REALIABLE source. It is from E! online and here is what she said:
"Things sometimes don't happen and it happens all the time, that things don't come together," she said. "But the thing about my life is that everybody seems to know all these different versions of stories that may or may not be true."

I'm thinking Ashley Artus as The Pimp (amazing) and Daniel Evans as Bamatabois?

Bamatabois is going to be played by Bertie Carvel ( MATILDA), according to the IMDB listing.
