thank you theatretrash lol. I didnt say Kelli DESERVES it cuz shes not in a comedy- just that it could help with a nom cuz it makes her stand out more. She ACTS in her show... Ramirez imitates (mariah, barbara, Liza, Judy, etc) and her whole existence on the stage seems forced (like they just needed a female lead). Her character didnt really ADD anything to the show except for some great singing. Kelli really SUPPORTS the whole show and just shines.

i know there wasnt... but hher role just seemed a little forced. I liked Spamalot and everything but i dont really think it deserves any awards. (felt the same way about the producers though... i thought it was fun but i dont think it derserved SO many awards.)

BSo -- what's your point? They couldn't have done a show without a female lead?

No.

I'm saying that all of her parts were written for the show - while most of the show comes from the movie. Meaning, that Sara's parts may seem not to fit perfectly.
