Posted: 5/5/05 at 7:40amrentboy86 - if you don't like the idea of a grown man singing with an Irish accent - never listen to A Man of No Importance (a truly lovely show). You'll hate it - it's FULL of grown men AND women singing with Irish accents.

Rentboy should also stay away from Finian's Rainbow.
By the way - Barrie was Scottish, not Irish. If you hate Scottish accents, stay away from Brigadoon.
I just tend to dislike shows with children in them...

I dont know how closley they movie was adapted to the play - but as long as they adapt the musical from the PLAY, i am fine with it.
After all Peter Pan (the musical) was adapted from a play.
