First broadway trip!

So on Friday I depart london for my first trip to New York I'm there till the Tuesday evening so hoping to catch two or three shows wanted t see cabaret but I think it's sold out for all the performances when I'm there so just wanted some advice on what people would recommend to see and also recommendations for the best way to get good cheap seats

Congratulations! Right off the bat, I'd like to suggest "Chicago" of course. You're in for a treat if you get to see Dylis Croman as Roxie Hart. She is a master of the Fosse form. There's: "Aladdin", "Hedwig", "Kinky Boots", "It's Only A Play", "Phantom" and much more. Do try to order your tickets online, if you can. It's more convenient that way. BroadwayBox is a good site that offers oodles and oodles of discounts to many Broadway AND off-Broadway shows. You should check it out. Have fun!

Posted: 1/11/15 at 7:18pmDon't give up too quickly on CABARET. I am noticing quite a few premium seats available this weekend ($500 to $700 a ticket). As the weekend nears, I would imagine some of those seats will not sell and will go on sale at regular prices. Keep checking back.

Posted: 1/11/15 at 9:15pmI can't recommend Beautiful enough...you have to see Jessie Mueller live she is amazing. Broadwaybox often has good discounts. Other shows Id recommend If/Then, Kinky Boots, Les Mis, You can't take it with you, It's only a Play.
