So I was there tonight. Nic Rouleau was good, especially for his first show. He’s a very strong singer and hopefully he’ll get more comfortable with the accent. I’m a little biased having seen the OBC but the cast as a whole were still good and the accents were better than anticipated. Most shocking thing was learning my boyfriend doesn’t like musicals ( it was the first one I had taken him too) so that might be a problem….

Did I just buy a number of Honey deuce drinks tonight and have an amazing time….yes I did. The matches ended at 1 AM tonight which is insane but so much earlier than last night. They definitely have to figure something out but unfortunately TV is a driving factor

Yeah I’m curious about dates too. Obviously us has to open before Tony cut offs but I’m going in early April and this is one of the shows I want to see just wondering if I will be seeing it in previews or not

I saw the show last night and all the leads were in. I’ve loved the score since I was a teenager but had never seen the show performed live. Is the story flawed? Considering addei g this to my spring trip. I have 1 slot left but am not really excited by any new musicals this season other than two strangers. Usually not into comedies but sounds like this is worth it?

It’s fully sold out at $108 on AR. Man the tickets to this show are expensive. Was interested in seeing it but not when the cheapest seats available are $200

I do a solo trip to NY every year. Each year since 2014 I take 5 days and see at least 7 shows. I have no problem going alone mainly cus it means I can see what I want and spend what I want. What are the chances this could extend?

I see they have announced an extension into May. I’ve tried getting tickets in April but the telecharge website is acting up and doesn’t seem to be working with the new dates yet.

Is this a limited run or are they in a wait and see. I see tickets are only on sale till March. I’d love to see this but won’t be back in the city till April. I know it may be hard to tell right now and things will change once reviews come out.

I saw both this week and if I had to pick one to see it would be Othello. Yes there are issues with it but it’s a better story. GNGL is just a meh story. Both have flaws but I thought other all the acting was better in Othello. JG is a good Iago and I think Denzel give a better performance that George.

So the technical stop lasted about 15 mins and then they started up again. Not sure what the issue was but didn’t notice any other issues for the rest of the show. Overall I that it was good. A talented cast telling a story that is as relevant now as ever. A couple of understudies were on tonight. Saw this tonight and really enjoyed it. I had read the reviews so knew there were parts that people didn’t enjoy. That said I thought the whole show got better as it went. JG is definitely the strongest part of the show but Denzel is such a legend it was a pleasure to see him on stage. I think he is getting more comfortable in the role based on some of the early reviews I read.
