Re: OPERATION MINCEMEAT Reviews
So I was there tonight. Nic Rouleau was good, especially for his first show. He’s a very strong singer and hopefully he’ll get more comfortable with the accent. I’m a little biased having seen the OBC but the cast as a whole were still good and the accents were better than anticipated. Most shocking thing was learning my boyfriend doesn’t like musicals ( it was the first one I had taken him too) so that might be a problem….
Re: NYT: The U.S. Open Can’t Go On Like This
Did I just buy a number of Honey deuce drinks tonight and have an amazing time….yes I did. The matches ended at 1 AM tonight which is insane but so much earlier than last night. They definitely have to figure something out but unfortunately TV is a driving factor
Re: LMM working on THE WARRIORS musical?
Yeah I’m curious about dates too. Obviously us has to open before Tony cut offs but I’m going in early April and this is one of the shows I want to see just wondering if I will be seeing it in previews or not
CHESS (2025 Broadway Revival) Reviews
I saw the show last night and all the leads were in. I’ve loved the score since I was a teenager but had never seen the show performed live. Is the story flawed? Yes it always has been but the music is the star anyway. It’s the type of music that punches you in the face even if you are in the back row. I didn’t love the Schtick of the Arbiter. Were some of the zingers funny? Sure but I think it set a different tone of the show being silly which was a take I didn’t love. that being said I real...
DEATH BECOMES HER Reviews
Considering addei g this to my spring trip. I have 1 slot left but am not really excited by any new musicals this season other than two strangers. Usually not into comedies but sounds like this is worth it?
PROOF takes Booth Theatre; Samira Wiley and Jin Ha Join Cast
It’s fully sold out at $108 on AR. Man the tickets to this show are expensive. Was interested in seeing it but not when the cheapest seats available are $200
Solo theatergoers are on the rise — and theaters want more of them : NPR
I do a solo trip to NY every year. Each year since 2014 I take 5 days and see at least 7 shows. I have no problem going alone mainly cus it means I can see what I want and spend what I want. The fact is that many of my friends don’t want to shell out that much money for live theatre. They all say they want to cons with me but I always tell them be prepared to go to the theatre every night and sometimes twice a day. I realized a long time ago that I can’t but do things because there’s nobody t...
2026-2027 Season Tour Launches
I’m looking forward to this season. It does bug me that we don’t get many equity tours but I’m honestly happy that we aren’t getting cats or wicked again

What are the chances this could extend?
Lea Michele, Aaron Tveit, and Nicholas Christopher in 2025 Chess Revival!
I see they have announced an extension into May. I’ve tried getting tickets in April but the telecharge website is acting up and doesn’t seem to be working with the new dates yet.
Lea Michele, Aaron Tveit, and Nicholas Christopher in 2025 Chess Revival!
Is this a limited run or are they in a wait and see. I see tickets are only on sale till March. I’d love to see this but won’t be back in the city till April. I know it may be hard to tell right now and things will change once reviews come out.
Which Show Is Better
I saw both this week and if I had to pick one to see it would be Othello. Yes there are issues with it but it’s a better story. GNGL is just a meh story. Both have flaws but I thought other all the acting was better in Othello. JG is a good Iago and I think Denzel give a better performance that George.
Real Women Have Curves - Broadway
So the technical stop lasted about 15 mins and then they started up again. Not sure what the issue was but didn’t notice any other issues for the rest of the show. Overall I that it was good. A talented cast telling a story that is as relevant now as ever. A couple of understudies were on tonight. I agree there are a few songs that don’t advance the story and the role of Henry either needs to be explored further once all together. The ensemble doesn’t have much to do as the main women of the ...
Real Women Have Curves - Broadway
At the show tonight and they’ve stopped it in act 1 for technical difficulties. Gotta love live theatre
Real Women Have Curves - Broadway
I’m seeing this tonight. Curious if Tatianna will be back. Must be tough to be out for a period during previews. Either way I’m looking forward to a totally new work.
THE LAST FIVE YEARS Reviews
so I was there tonight and I echo what a lot of people are saying Nick Jonas sounds too pop for this score. He’s a fine singer and sure he’s talented but I just don’t think he is right for this role. I thought that the chemistry he had with Adrienne Warren wasn’t as bad as everybody thought and to be honest, I kind of liked the interaction between the two characters. I thought it had just the right amount of interaction and at the right moments to help tell the story I think if you saw this w...
