Hi gang,
For anyone who has sat in the first row center at Les Mis, can you tell me if their is alot of leg room with the pit in front of you. I am bringing someone who requires some room but needs to sit close, so if their is room I will go for the front row. Right now I am being offered Row A, seats 111-113.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!
nope. not at all...you actually gain quite a bit believe it or not! Its the best experience in the theater if you ask me :)

Front row center at Les Mis is an incredible experience. Go for it.
Last time I saw Les Mis, I was in the front row. They are amazing seats. I was worried going in, but the view was perfect. If I remember correctly, there was plenty of leg room, too. Have a great time, it's an enjoyable show.
I've sat in the first, second, and fourth row center for Les Miz, and the first row was my least favorite. It was way too close. I love getting spit on as much as the next person, but that show is so much more panoramic than others and I felt like my eyes were constantly darting back and forth because I was trying to see everything that was going on, I know I must have looked like the biggest meth addict in the world if anyone on the stage was watching me.
Third or fourth row is the closest that I would recommend to people planning ahead.
Sitting front row at Les Mis really is great( i'll be sitting there tomorrow again!). But yes you have to look up a lot mostly when the action is on the barricade. and no there isn't much leg room at all. I'm tiny and I'm pretty crammed against the pit
Wear a poncho!
Over ten of the times I've seen Les Mis have been from the first row, and I pretty much hate sitting anywhere else for it. It is the best theatrical experience you can have.
Front row is awesome.
Especially when you have a Valjean who STARES AT YOU yes Drew Sarich I'm looking at you.
Thanks everyone for the info!! It sounds like their is enough room to not be cramped for 3 hours. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...Broadway fans are the BEST!!!
I sat front row a few times with Alex Gemignani as Valjean and 2 times with Drew Sarich. Alex spits A LOT and Drew just stares at you haha but it is definetly a lot of fun. At the End of the Day is really great when sitting first row when the actors lean over the edge of the stage, theyre practically on top of you!

I have not felt any spit the last dozen times I've been in Row A Center, but I still suggest that you keep your mouth shut. Most of the spitting is from further back upstage, or is across the stage.
p.s. By the way, plenty of legroom for A-111 to A-113, but you might want to include seat A-114 which is on the aisle.
Enjoy!!! I have seen the show 15 times and twice from front row. It's an expierience you'll never forget.
It's great to hear about the leg room in A 111-113. So it sounds like we won't have to get up to let the other people in the row pass. My father does not like to get up and down so this should be perfect. Thanks again everyone!!!
I seriously felt sorry for the conductor when Alex was singing...ewe....

I remember I was in the first row, but on the left side, not the center, and I don't think you get as much leg room compared to sitting in other rows.
