This is kind of a dated issue, but I was curious if anyone on here might know why there wasn't an Opening Night Party for "Fish in the Dark"? I usually see coverage of the Opening Night Party/Celebration on this website, and have yet to see anything on here (nor on any of the other major Broadway websites). This seemed strange to me, given the highly advertised nature of this play.

Thanks neonlightsxo...I suspected as much, but thought someone might have a different insight on the matter.

I thought it was weird no press was invited. I don't think I've ever seen no coverage of an opening night, especially for a show that has had so much publicity and marketing and people saying "It is impossible to get a ticket" and all that stuff.

For Larry David's feelings on after parties, view this from the SNL40 show, last month:

There was a party. I know people that were there and saw a bunch of pictures

We weren't doubting the existence of a party. The press just wasn't invited. Scott Rudin does that sometimes.
