How's the seating? I was looking at row C orchestra for JCS. Do you have to look up to see the stage?

No ... but the orchestra seating is not great for a stage show ... the seating isn't on much of a tilt, so unless you're pretty close, it can be a real strain to see all that's happening on stage.
I go to De Anza, and the college doesn't even own Flint; IMO, and in the opinion of nearly everybody else, the center has become a joke.

That's a pretty good seat but there is no aisle, so if you're in the middle, you have to wade your way to your seat from a sea of people.
I have seen Rent, Hairspray and Movin Out at the Flint and everytime I go...
I always curse myself and bow not to go back!
Are the seats replaced and renovated yet?

They renovated the center bout ten years ago, but supposedly focused only on the suites, because the stage is still in need of work, the old outdated speakers are still used in some shows, and the orchestra seating has never been revamped.
