Re: "Follies" coming to DC

General onsale for all STC shows began today, 7/24. Today and tomorrow use new code STCEARLY for 25% discount. This works only for shows marked "Special Offer" in the "Buy Tickets" drop down menu, the majority of which are evening performances.

I am very familiar with the theatre but have never sat in the mezzanine. FYI, Front row mezz overhangs Row P Grand tier Orchestra. https://cms.shakespearetheatre.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/250714_Harman-Seating-Map_Thrust_W-Numbers_3000x2000.pdf For the money, I recommend you check availability in center orch rows J&K. Great seats that are two price levels below front row mezz but closer to the stage. That's where we will be for Follies.

High. STC is no stranger to extending successful productions. They’ve extended at least two in the past season, Guys and Dolls as well as Othello.

I have only sat in orchestra and rear mezzanine, so I can’t comment on front row mezz. However, my view from the rear mezz was quite good, so I would imagine that the front mezz is great too. I’ve never had a bad seat in the orchestra, however the stage is extremely wide, so if you’re in the first few rows, you’ll be looking from side to side a lot because it’s difficult to capture the entire stage in your line of sight when you’re that close - even more so than sitting close in other houses. Has never bothered me, but something to be aware of. I think 6-ish rows back in the orchestra is the sweet spot, and the mezz is a good option too.
