beacuse I'm basically playing my own foil. I'm Travis (Chuck's friend) and Jeter (Ren's friend) They are both VERY different.

Oh, for some reason I misread, and thought you were playing two of Willard's friends, not one of Willard's and one of Chuck's.

But to my point, Chuck originally has 2 friends, right? Why not just have the other guy play Travis as well, and make Chuck only have 1 friend?

congrats on your part mate,its such a fun show to be in ive been doing it for almost 9 months now on the uk tour and now at the novello in london and it has to be one of the most exciting shows ive done.
All the parts from ren to swings or ensemble are just as important in footloose since this is an ensemble show due to the dancing.
Enjoy it and have a great time (im sure you will lol)

Maybe Ren slept with the director. (Just kidding, although I had to do that a few times to get part.) Don't worry about being a supporting role. You'll have a ball!
