This was one of the first professional Broadway musicals I saw and stupid me never saved the program. I found this cast list and I assume it is the same as when I saw the show. I saw it in Cleveland, the first stop. I have always wanted to see hott Joe Machota perform...I guess I have. Others in it were DAREN KELLY, RICHARD H. BLAKE, and CHRISTIAN BORLE.

Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Posted: 2/12/05 at 12:46pmI can't imagine Matt Morrison going on a Cranston as an understudy. He seems much more like a Ren person lol. Was Footloose a low budget show when it was on Broadway becaus ejust about everyone was making there Broadway debut in that show. Right?

Posted: 2/12/05 at 1:17pmFootloose casted lots of young actors/actresses, so a lot made their debut with the show. Looking back, that show had TONS of talent (Hunter Foster, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Matt Morrison & Jeremy Kushnier just to name a few)

Posted: 2/12/05 at 4:04pmHunter Foster played Bickle, one of Willard's boys. And he was also the u/s for Ren, and went on quite frequently. I actually saw him go on as Ren the first time I saw it.

Matt was in the ensemble and the Chuck Cranston understudy in the broadway production and then Chuck Cranston u/s for Ren on the tour. Just wanted to clear that up :) Apparently someone thought he was good at Chuck. I didnt get a chance to see him in that. . . live. . .
