Ha, I know I'm in the minority in loving McGill, even with the speech impediment.
I LOVED the interracial casting; those songs needed to be sung by black girls from day one.
And I am eternally jealous that you got to see that Ragtime tour. Norm as Coalhouse...
I can't even begin.
I saw Rupert in the Ragtime tour (and I believe Lawrence Hamilton from Play On! was Colehouse when I saw it), and he was superb.
According to his MySpace blog, he's doing THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK out at Paper Mill Playhouse next.

Cool, good for him. THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK is such a great piece! Thanks also for the cool info Doc & Falsettos. I also, saw Michael in RAGTIME and I loved him in it...Such warmth! Amazing!
