Forbidden Broadway

I can not wait to see this show over the summer! Starting June 18th the show is spoofing Avenue Q, Wicked, etc. Out of all the plays it makes fun of, which musical are you anticpating the most?

re: Forbidden Broadway

It's times like this that I wish I lived in NYC, I always enjoy a bit of satire, especially when all in good fun
You, you are the worst thing to happen to musical theater since Andrew Lloyd Webber... and you I just don't like you.

Corine, since you are an expert on FB, please tell me. I am coming to NYC at around Sep. 16 for 15 days. When it says that it is running until Sep.15, what happens next ? Do they close and make revisions for a new show ? I can't believe i will be so unlucky !!! I sooo want to see Forbidden Broadway for the first time !!!

Take care

re: Forbidden Broadway

I think after Sept there will be a new version.
Gerard updates the show very often. I have seen this version 8 times and it has been a little bit different every time i have seen it.
It is so much fun. I miss it. Maybe I will go this week.
I know it so well I could be an understudy.

re: Forbidden Broadway

Sorry to bother you again Corine, but does the venue remain closed for a few days between versions or do they rehearse simultaneously for new numbers and incorporate them while the show plays continuously ? I mean will I be able to see it between Sep. 15-30, or will the thater be dark ? Thank you

Take care
