Has anyone seen it? My friend's nephew is in it right now...Jared Bradshaw...What is you favorite skit? I like the Sweeney Todd one.
I met Jared on the bus. He is such a sweetie.
It comes back to NYC June 9th. I am counting the days.

You could say I am obsessed with FB.

thats awesome that you know Jared...where exactly did you meet him?
In NYC on the 104 bus. He was wearing an FB bag.
LOL.
Jared is very down to earth and nice.
He is one of the few members of the cast I have not interviewed.
That will change in June!

Info on Jared.
Oh a Sweeney Tood one. I wish I could see that. What do they do? I saw it last summer but I know the show must have changed a lot since then.
It is really funny.
LuPone has an instrument tied to her knees.
I laughed so hard I thought I would lose a body part.
And the new Jersey Boys skit is cute.

I was at the final New York performance before they left for San Diego on March 26th, and the show was AMAZING!!! Lots of new stuff (Sweeney, Pajama Game, Jersey Boys, etc.)... Go see it if your in the area!
I got to chat with Gerard Alessandrini after and he said theres going to be new material when they re-open in New York in June. He said he can't wait to hit all the Tony nominees. I want to see some Color Purple up there... and I'm dying to see what they do for The Drowsy Chaperone!
Wish I could go to San Diego.
A bit OVER THE TOP. Even for me.
Yes, it is very funny. I have seen the show over 50 times.
I normally see shows once or twice.
Enjoy.
I loved the You Need a Puppet one. Also the song where they sang about how Spamalot stole their song, oh and how can you forget "glossy fosse". Gah there's just too much to mention. I saw it on the second the last performance of the season. I was dissapointed that they didn't do Fiddler with No Jew.

The SPAMALOT number was brilliant with the actors singing "The Song That..." with the original lyrics for a while! And then after the key change there was also the change of lyrics with "Now, this is very strange, the lyrics didn't change!" and the song turning into "The Song They Stole From Us".
I saw the show in last August and they had this great number of Applegate's Charity, which made the audience roll on the floor with laughter. Megan Lewis (I think that was her name) was absolutely fantastic in it.

I was there right before it closed (for now).
It's one of the funniest things I've seen. I just wish I'd seen it a different day than I had- I went to see Piazza that night and couldn't get the FB song out of my head. I'm sure I was smirking a lot- but I wasn't laughing!
That happens to me all the time. It happened to me at Piazza and at Sweeney Todd. I kept hearing the old Tiny Todd bit and it was driving me nuts.
Oh, and when I saw Spamalot, I kept hearing the song they stole from us and cracking up. I saw that number before I saw Spamalot and at Spamalot, I was hysterical.
I haven't seen FB SVU, but the ones I have seen I loved. It is always worth seeing.
Understanding that they are probably a litte dated, My favorite skits are:
Chita / Rita (america)
Liza one-note (johnny one-note)
Both of them slay me.
