Forgive me, another question about Brooklyn
Forgive me, another question about Brooklyn#0
Posted: 1/8/05 at 2:53amThe ending is most definately not a happy ending, or did I miss something?

Posted: 1/8/05 at 2:55amYou don't have to watch the show any longer? I'd say that's most definitely a happy ending.

Posted: 1/8/05 at 12:08pmI would say Brooklyn ended on a happy note. One of the lessons taught is that even if you lose---you still win a little. Just because she lost doesn't mean it can't be a happy ending.

Ahhhhhhh. The agony we call BKLYN. I REALLY DON'T GET WHAT PEOPLE SAW IN THAT SHOW.
The worst part was Eden's high pitched voice. I really though EDEN WOULD BURST MY EAR DRUM.
The agony song from INTO THE WOODS went off whenever Eden sang.

Posted: 1/8/05 at 1:03pmReally this "screeching" slander directed at Eden and Ramona is getting ridiculous. I had no problems nor did anyone with me. They both have a high belt, yes - more power to them! - but they have everything else too including the ability to sing softly and beautifully.

Posted: 1/8/05 at 1:11pmMallardo, I haven't seen them directed at Ramona at all (who can deny her wonder?), only Eden.
re: Forgive me, another question about Brooklyn#6
Posted: 1/8/05 at 1:14pmPleaseChangeMe, I HAVE seen these comments directed at both and they're equally unfair.

Answer: No

I completely agree with Mallardo. I think Mr. Tuttle and Corine2 are being rude about the fact that people think Eden AND Ramona are screechy (which they are not). After all, she was Idina u/s and they didn't complain about her then. I actually heard a lot of rumors and read reviews saying that Idina's u/s (Eden) was better than Idina at the part. (I'm not agreeing with this just simply saying what i heard) If you think Ramona and Eden are screechy...fine thats your opinion but NOT a fact.
re: Forgive me, another question about Brooklyn#9
Posted: 1/8/05 at 5:29pmI think people think they're scrrechy because the music calls for Brooklyn to belt unusally high, some notes even higher than Elphaba.
