It's to play the Berkeley Rep next February. Just remember, if you buy tickets and maybe even travel a great distance to see this, you're doing it to see THE SHOW. Any other reason is just shallow, per BWW posters.

YES! I was just thinking today how great she is...I won't be going out to CA, but I will be following this performance vicariously...Lol. Macbeth is my favorite work of Shakespeare too.

I bet she'll be scary. But if her understudy ever goes on that's fine too because apparently it's a terrific play so people should not bitch and take it like a man.

I'll def be going cause she's one of my favori... uh, I mean Macbeth is one of my favorites of the Bard's canon.
Does anyone know where the stage door is? Do you think she'll sign my Fargo poster?

At the risk of sounding like a total dweeb- I first fell in love with McDormand's acting when she played Miss Clavel in Madeline. No joke...she was a huge part of my childhood! Then, when I got older, I found out she won a Tony for playing Stella in Streetcar. And I was like, "I'm not the only one who likes Stella better than Blanche! Yes!"

Except he is the GREATEST white bear rapper EVER.
It doesn't matter how one came to McDormand fandom, it's all, as the young people say, good. But, and it's a BIG but, you're going to the show not to see her as Mrs. Macbeth.
