Frankie Valli character question

Hi gang,

I saw JB on Friday night, and as all of you know who have seen him, he is incredible! I noticed that after "Can't take my eyes off you", during the thunderous applause that would not stop he was crying.

Can anyone tell me if he always does this. Was it him or his character crying? For those of you who was his understudy, did he cry also?

I was also curious about one other thing with the same song. In the scenes where he was having trouble getting the song on the radio I had a question. When he sang the song was that the time it was played on the radio? Did singing the song signify this?

He was crying? He always has very sad but appreciative eyes after that song. I've never seen tears fall.

And I believe when he first performs the song, it's supposed to be him performing it at a concert, as in the one the record exec comes to to check out the show.

Thanks very much for explaining that scene. And yes, I was surprised he had tears. Could he have known it may have been his last time singing it??? Who knows if he will return now?
