Posted: 8/5/04 at 2:23pmIs there a French-Canadian production of Chicago? I thought I read somewhere that there was one in Montreal, but it was in French. Or maybe I'm confusing it with a possible Phantom of the Opera of Les Miserables?

That was Summer 2003, as part of the annual Montreal Comedy Festival Just For Laughs.
This summer it was Rent: Le Rock Musical. It had a short run.
They also have The Mystery of Irma Vep in French, that I think is still running.

Wooooooooo!!!
Go French Canada!!!
I was in Quebec City once, and there was an ad for a French language version of "Man of La Mancha", only it had a COMPLETELY different title.

There was a Canadian company which later turned into the Paris company.....
The Canadian company was welcomed into the "Chicago Family" April 15, 2003, when the entire Canadian cast visited the Broadway cast.
