Frenchie Davis...is she still in Rent?

Hi all! Just wondering if Frenchie is still in Rent because I'm seeing it this Saturday. Also, what character does she play? Thanks :)

yes, she's still in rent. she is the seasons of love female soloist and understudy for joanne.

I believe she is currently playing Joanne for the next week. The previous Joanna left and the new one is coming in next week

I saw RENT last Wednesday and she played Joanne - she was EXCELLENT.

Everyone who has been thinking about revisiting RENT should do so now -it's once again in top form.

RENT is either pitiful, or amazing - and last Wednesday night, it was absolutely amazing.

Antonique Smith is certainly reminiscent of Daphne...she's just raw and completely focused - very moving.

i agree...this is a GREAT time for Rent...saw it a few weeks ago, completely expecting it to be old and tired - NOT THE CASE AT ALL. It was...really, there are no words.

Frenchie's u/s-ing Joanne...she's been on a bunch, but not all the time - a friend of mine saw it Sat. matinee and she wasn't on as Joanne. I'm going on Thursday...hopefully she'll be on!

Frenchie and Crystal are taking over Joanne until Kenna comes back in December.

haha take the time to see Karmine Alers as the Bag Lady/Soloist...if she goes on as that for the day.

Josh Koback is the current Roger, and then on Christmas eve they are bringing someone new since Cary isn't coming back

I didn't care for Antonique at all. makes me want to die when I see her on stage.

Her singing voice is certainly limited to belting, but her acting is top-notch.

not only she is amazing...she is super nice at the stage door...she didn't even wear a scarf in the blizzard!!! that voice and no scarf??? lol
