Yep. I saw The Passion of George W. Bush, which was pretty good, Andru's Head, which was forgettable, and The Bicycle Men, which was very good. I guess I won't get to see that 4th show I wanted- no time. re: Fringe NYC Shows anyone..anyone? Updated On: 8/25/04 at 10:24 AM

Saw Africa and Plumbridge and Ellen Craft.

Recommend the former... not so much the latter. re: Fringe NYC Shows anyone..anyone? (Unless you're drunk, which I was and I still don't recommend it.)

i saw 'How to save the world and find true love in 90 minutes". funny. It was about an hour of a really good show. unfortunately the show is an hour and a half. But with some tweaking here and there it could be very good.

So far, Womyn in Three has been my favorite. Really incredible, but due to a cast of mostly currently employed Broadway actors, they only had two performances. Which is sad, beacuse more people should have been able to see it, and dammit, I want to see it again!

I've seen Subway Train as well, which I've seen a couple of other times over the past year. It's chugging along nicely. The cast is strong (especially Scott Hunt and Joshua Kobak), and the material, for the most part, is great. I love its 9/11 undertones most of all, and since I myself have an obsession with the subway system, the fact that the whole story takes place underground is really cool to me.

Spickner Spin was fun, although a bit campy. The songs stuck in my head, so bravo to Seth for that. The cast was energetic and enthusiastic, and the plot was for the most part unique, but I couldn't help seeing it as just another musical.

And the other I've seen so far is All Good Things, which has since closed, but was a fun time with catchy oldies music.

Fringing is fun. I just wish I had more time and money to catch more shows! Updated On: 8/25/04 at 06:19 PM
