Has anyone from this board sat in the front row for The Addams Family? If so do you think it is ok? Or is it too close? I like being close but not being familiar with the show any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

I've sat in the front row there numerous times. I was in the center and the side and the view is perfect! The stage seems a little higher in the center but you miss absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately, it's the show that's the problem now, as I did not care for the new cast at all. I laughed every time with the originals, but not at all now. The jokes as said by Roger Rees are just not landing. This is just my opinion, but I actually hope the show closes soon so it can be out of its misery. My girlfriend agreed and felt all the energy was just sucked out of the show, especially the "Full Disclosure" scene which was always the highlight of the end of the first act.

Thanks a lot Marway44. Yes, I do not hold great hopes that I will enjoy it that much (not a fan of the recording and many friends who have seen it did not like it).. however I will still give it a shot.
I really appreciate your response re the seating and for sharing your thoughts on the show also.

My pleasure to help brettystar! Please post your take on the show (and seats) after you see it. I really do hope you enjoy it! By the way, I was in Times Square the other day and was handed a coupon for 50% off all seats at every performance including Saturday performances. While the Broadwaybox coupon is good, it is 45% off and does not include Saturdays.

By the way, speaking of the front row, tomorrow I have the front row at "Phantom" again. That is probably my favorite front row seats since the stage is so low.

I sure will post my thoughts Marway44- not seeing it til June 9. We ended up getting two tickets in Row E - they are on the side but on the aisle and the seat next to it. As great as front row is - I figured might be best to be a little bit back to appreciate the whole stage.
Thanks a lot for your advice guys. As we are coming from Oz - we need to book things in advance to secure them rather than risk not getting a ticket as it gets closer to. I hate sitting too far back.
