Front row stalls at WICKED

I know that the front row Stalls seats at Wicked go on sale at 10am, but I was just wondering if there is any need to get there much before that time to get a ticket?
Also, is anyone aware of where in the theatre they sell the student tickets for??

thanks,
-megs

At weekends, it's best to be there by 8am. In the week you could be a bit later.

I believe student tickets are best available seats, but I've never got them so I'm not sure.

Student seats are best available and you need recognised student ID to get them. I have done that several times as it is hard to get there early enough for days seats for me. Only once have I been disappointed by the seats and that was when I bought them just before curtain (and it was a legroom problem rather than the view). I have been all over the theatre from row B to half way back in the circle with the best available student seats.

I've done the Day Ticket thing a few times, it all depends on - the earlier you get there, the better the seats.

9 o'clock is probably the latest you should be there, we got there around then on a Wednesday and ended up missing all the day tickets and having to buy partial view (for the same price) which wasn't a disaster but...

Then the other time my friend got there at like half 7 (her bus was early) and we ended up Row A, center stage - lets just say it was fantastic. Actually a totally different, and more personal, experience of the show.

So if I was to try for day seats this Saturday (Ashleigh Gray is on) what time should I get there? Would 8:45 be too late?

On a saturday, when it is known that Ashleigh Gray is on? I'd be there at 7. Seriously. I did wednesday in half term (unplanned, didn't know it was half term til we got there) when Sarah Earnshaw was on. We there at 7 since that was when our coach got into London, and we were 5th and 6th in the queue.

Thanks cages. My coach either gets to Victoria Station at 6:05 or 8:30, and I was hoping for a bit of a sleep in. Maybe not ... oh well, its totally worth it :)

I got one at 3 in the afternoon during a recent biz trip, but be aware you lose a lot of the magic being that close !

I've seen the show many times before and just feel like being a fangirl for a day: doing the whole day seats, squealing in the front row, stage door thing :)

re: Front row stalls at WICKED

If I have to go I like front row so I can look at costumes and set. It distracts me from everything else.
