I have a ticket to see the show on Sunday night. I JUST learned that Caissie is going to be out, and she was the reason I chose to see it. Does anyone know if the box office would refund me? I cant exchange because I fly home on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, I think it is very unlikely since she is not above the title, but I suppose it never hurts to ask.
Alyssa Fox, her standby, is fantastic. I highly recommend seeing her.

You can post-date your ticket if you’re going to be coming back to the city any time soon. That’s what I did with Ali Stroker in Oklahoma!
But they very well might give you a refund. It doesn’t hurt to ask. She IS the lead of the show, after all, and her picture is EVERYWHERE, including the marquee now.

She's nothing special in the role, so you won't really be missing anything. That said, doesn't Disney allow for exchanges? You can exchange for another date to see her.

I would not advise this. Alyssa Fox is sensational. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to go just because Caissie is out.

If the standby is on you can definitely exchange your ticket. Alyssa is amazing though as others have said on here.
