OK...the girl in the purple is Kerri Brackin. She plays Mrs. T, bear, ensemble and is the kate/lucy understudy. The girl above her is Jackie Grabois...she is playing Kate/Lucy. The guy in front of Brent is Zach Trimmer, he is the male ensemble and cover for rod princeton, nikki trekki, and gary coleman. They are all 3 hairspray tour alum. This is info from them, I'm not making it up lol.

did anyone see the clemson previews?? any word on this new cast? i can't wait to see them in chicago, but i wanted to see if there is any news on how the show was in clemson...

Just got back from seeing it at Penn State's Eisenhower Auditorium.

I thought the cast was pretty solid, with Nigel Clark as the exception. Maybe I'm just used to a female Gary Coleman, but none of his songs had the punch required for the character. Maybe that's because the songs were written for a girl, but they could have changed the key.

I thought Lisa Helmi Johanson hit it out of the park with Christmas Eve, she was hilarious! I like how she used a more nasally tone than the average Christmas Eve actress, I think it fits her character better.

Everybody else was somewhere in the middle, though the cast as a whole surpassed by expectations.

By the way, this production used "swine flu" as a replacement for "George Bush". I thought they were sticking with "George Bush WAS only for now", does anyone know how long they've been using "swine flu"?

I could have sworn that I saw Lisa Helmi on an old episode of 'Cash Cab'.

I uploaded the audio of "I Wish I Could Go Back to College" from a talk show performance they did when they were in Syracuse. It's only audio because the video on the website sucks.
