I'm trying to compile a comprehensive list of all musicals that were ever on Broadway that are fully sung through. Please list any that you can think of. Here, I'll start with the easy ones:
Hamilton
Les Miserables
Miss Saigon
Rent
Next to Normal
JCS
Evita
i know there's more, but it's late, lol

i
interesting list
i never considered Caroline, or Change, because there's numerous spoken lines (although most of it is sung through) whereas I can't recall any dialogue that's not sung in Rent

In response to an earlier reply, I'm fairly certain that Next to Normal is not sung-through. I seem to recall a fair amount of spoken dialogue.
THE GOLDEN APPLE
FALSETTOS
We just did this thread in July
I think totally sung through and very little dialogue, though very similar, are not quite the same.
Kinda funny how I always labeled DREAMGIRLS full sung-thru but just realized there are extensive dialogue scenes though they are underscored by music which is where my assumption blurred things.

The Great Comet
Starlight Express
Cats
Hamilton
Les Miserables
Phantom
Miss Saigon
Falsettos
Evita
Jesus Christ Superstar
Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Rent
And technically EVITA isn't fully sung-thru. Her entire speech to the crowd outside of the Casa Rosada at the end of "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" is entirely spoken.
